Customer Research International, Inc. (CRI) is a data collection research firm headquartered in the Austin-San Marcos, TX metropolitan area. CRI has conducted thousands of research projects for a wide range of clients, including state and municipal entities, universities, media outlets, political pollsters, public policy scientists, retail corporations, high tech companies, and more.
Mr. Vrudhula has twenty years of experience in survey research. Since founding his first research company, Customer Research International, Inc. (CRI), in 1994 with wife Michelle and business partner Lyle Durbin, Sanjay has developed business practices, marketing strategies and strategic initiatives for successful business operations. He has helped to grow the company from a small telephone data collection firm to a formidable market research survey organization serving many clients all over the U.S. Prior to his career in the market research industry, Sanjay worked at Dell Computer Corporation, the State of Texas MHMR and the City of Austin as an IT programmer and analyst.

Michelle has over 20 years of experience in technical and logistical operations, project management, customer service, and human resources. She is responsible for pricing, staffing, and supervisor training. Ms. Vrudhula uses her highly developed skill for details to oversee all aspects of a research project from briefing and sample management to fielding and data entry. She will act as one of the project managers for your project ensuring all aspects of production are executed as agreed upon. Prior to her career in market research, Ms. Vrudhula was employed with Dell Computers in Round Rock, Texas.

Lyle Durbin has overseen a variety of ReconMR’s operations and client interfacing helping ReconMR grow from a small 10-station CATI phone room into a thriving data collection center with 300 interviewing stations and a large portfolio of market research products and services. Lyle has learned the business inside and out through involvement in almost every aspect of it – working in the call center seeing first-hand how data is collected, programming surveys, managing projects and quality control, running data tables and analyses, designing studies, creating client reports and presentations, and assisting with marketing and sales efforts. Mr. Durbin studied math at the University of Texas.

Jon Durbin, MBA, CTP – Chief Financial Officer. Jon has served as business advisor for Customer Research International and ReconMR since it’s founding. He has served in operations and financial positions and consulting in a number of industries. He is an active member of the Austin Association for Financial Professionals and a former member of the Wells Fargo Advisory Council. Jon earned his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Chicago (1972) and a BA from the University of Rochester (1970). He is also a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).

Angelique Uglow has nearly twenty years of experience in the research industry. Angel is responsible for building new business relationships while acting as a strong resource in the management of research projects. Angel develops sales presentations, research proposals, and action plans for existing and new clients. Previously Angel was Vice President of Operations at Scientific Telephone Samples (STS). At STS Angel consulted with clients on a variety of sampling options. Angel attends industry conferences such as MRA, AAPOR, CASRO, and AMA to keep up with industry dynamics and identify future trends. Angel also attends industry-based continuing education seminars and has maintained a Professional Researcher Certification (PRC) – Expert Level since 2006. Prior to STS Angel managed a reputable market research call center in Las Vegas.
